Hi all,
This is a global update to all my sites. I’ve installed a new feature on my www.flimflamfighter.com site. It’s a feature that actually reads the posts for you. I did make an oops in the first draft of a posting and it reads as pubic rather than public. I changed it in the post but the audio still says pubic so I hope you get a laugh out of that little oops. Other than that, I think it’s pretty kool. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Flim Flam alert!
This goes out to all my pubic blogs. I’ve just come across a new public internet scam to watch out for. The scam looks like this. A very official email tells you to look at your account and that your password may be compromised. Now it doesn’t matter what account you have these folk take the artwork and logos from the legitimate site and paste them into these emails so they look authentic. Popular site scammers are from Ebay, Your credit card company, your utility company, and your bank. Adware tracks your site visits and you are paired with matching scammer sites so the emails they send out looks like something you may have signed up for or have an account with. If you look in the email at the links and hover over the link (don’t click it!!!) you can see where the link is headed. If it’s not a destination you know then beware.
For instance, I recently got an email from Ebay and paypal asking about activity on my account and that I needed to log in and verify my password and account settings. I looked at the link they provided and the link went not to Ebay or paypal but to some .edu website. Some students in a northern college had a scam that they sent these emails fishing for passwords. The link they provide goes to a fake Ebay site that collects your information and they can access you accounts. This type of scam is called PHISHING. Like fishing for info.
Real companies like Ebay don’t do this. These institutions don’t contact people and ask for your personal info. They have it. You registered with them.
If this happens to you send the email (forward) to the phishing division (yes they will have one) at the real company. They probably have a lot of other people reporting the same thing.
Stay safe and have a great week.

Yesterday, right by us in Kennesaw, a man escaped from an officer while the officer was getting food at a waffle house. Today, the man is still at large ……. I guess that inmate really didn’t want to eat at the waffle house……………
I could picture the officer wandering around Kennesaw State University campus with some waffle house coffee and eggs calling “Here convict …convict ….. convict ……
My wife said he should call suueee … suueee….. suueee….. I said no ….That’s the call for lawyers. (Sue Me) I just thought it was funny …….

PS Hey check out my new site at www.hypnosisdemo.com/wordpress
I’ve found that most of the best things in life don’t cost very much money but are truly priceless.
The other day my son called me on the cell phone. We have one of those plans that we pay by the minute and have no “free” minutes. This keeps us from racking up a big bill and works for us. So I tend to watch the minutes. But … I don’t watch them too closely and I’ll tell you why.
The other day my son called. I could tell the conversation was coming to a close and I had the choice to either close the call and get under my minute or let the call run longer and run over causing me to spend an extra $.05 (my minute rate.) I chose to run over and just let my son talk. Just after the minute beeped by my son closed out the conservation with these words “Thanks Dad – I Love You” I said back “I love you too – bye” and we ended the call. As I hung up the phone I noticed that it took just an extra :10 to let my son talk and I got that last “I Love You.”
When you think about how much time love takes and how much love costs, I can answer easily.
How long does love take? – :10
How much does love cost? – $.05
For my money, …. love is a pretty good value – it’s doesn’t take much time and it’s doesn’t take much money. Especially if you do it in bulk.
Love you all.

A bit about Dave:
David Bryan Smith is a professional hypnotist and entertainer from Atlanta Ga. with over 30 years experience. David has been a favorite at corporate events, colleges, festivals, fairs, comedy clubs and private events. There many differences in David’s show and any other hypnotist. First and foremost is that David is a naturally funny guy with a spontaneous sense of humor that is never harsh or inappropriate. He uses no blue material. Period! He takes great precautions to insure that no one embarrasses themselves or acts inappropriate. To quote Dave, “I feel that everyday things are funny if presented in the right context and there is no need to go into an area that makes some people uncomfortable. Humor is all around us. Sometimes all it takes is a look, a gesture or the right word to make something ordinary – extraordinary. I love to laugh and I love to make people laugh and forget their cares. That’s why I love the hypnosis show. I can bring out the best in people and show their friends that they have a sense of humor and can give my guests onstage some positive suggestions that they can take with them after the show and use in their every day life. How often do you get to encourage people with just a few “Magic Words.” I love my job and I hope to see you at a show soon.”
Tomorrow will be a historic day in our country. We will inaugurate the first Hawaiian President. They called him Barry. I have a friend that went to school with Berry in Hawaii. Isn’t it funny how small the world really is. In the span of two friends, I know the president. Actually, I have several friends that know Barry. And I now have several friends that know Barack (Barry changed his name.)
He’s an extra-ordinary guy, Barack. And I wish him the best of success. I think he was the right person for the job at this time and I think he will bring a new feel to the white house. Let’s hope that he is an honest man that tells the truth. Not like our past two presidents.
One looked me in the eye over the TV set and lied to me and the whole country. “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” The words still echo in my mind. Mainly, because I didn’t care if he had sexual relations with that woman, I just wanted my president to tell me the truth. And let’s not get started about GWB. Weapons of mass destruction???? How about millions of gallons of oil. That’s what the Iraq war is all about. Let’s call the truth the truth. We can’t even take care of our own (can you say Katrina?) Why would we attempt to solve the problems of another country when we can’t even solve the problems of our own?
They say it’s the dawn of a new day. Actually, every day is the dawn of a new day. We as Americans have a chance every day to take care of each other, to make a change. It is time to put these differences behind us and move forward as people, as Americans, and as Humans. I truly believe that if we stop looking at how we are different, we will find that all of us are very much alike. We enjoy the freedoms of America.
So, Barack …… good luck in your new job. We will be watching and helping where we can. And we will pray. In whatever way we pray regardless of our faith. Let me start with this prayer:
Lord of my understanding, watch out for our new president. Keep him safe. Keep him honest. Keep him in touch with the people. Watch out for his family and keep them safe. Give him the talent to change those things that need changing, leave those things that cannot be changed and the wisdom to know the difference between the two. Grant him wonderful health that he may be strong in times of need. And grant him the compassion to feel what the people he helps govern feel. And so it is.
And Happy Birthday Martin. Without your vision, this day would not have been possible. Oh by the way, in case you didn’t know. Barack is not only the first Hawaiian president; he is also the first black president. But most importantly, he is OUR President. He is President for every American regardless of their race, color, sex, faith, or national origin.
Good luck Mr. President.
